Professor Toshinori Ando has assumed the position of Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathobiology at Hiroshima University as of August 1, 2025.

gave a presentation at the 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Hiroshima University Dental Society with the title:
“ALPK2 Promotes Cell Proliferation in YAP/TAZ-activated Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.”

Dr. Toshinori Ando received the 2024 Academic Encouragement Award from the Japanese Society of Pathology at the 114th Annual Meeting of the Society.
He delivered an award lecture titled:
“Mechanisms of Proliferation and Drug Resistance Driven by Hippo Pathway Dysregulation in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.”
